After spending over a decade tackling DIY projects for friends, family, landlords, and myself, I realized I have both the passion and the skills to tackle larger renovations, so I started working full time in the trades at the beginning of 2017.

In 2018, I purchased a 1920s fixer-upper in St.Catharines that was in need of a LOT of love. Renovating my house into my dream home inspired me to help others do the same, so during the Covid lockdowns I decided to start my own business:

Sylwia Renovations and Contracting – a residential renovation company servicing homeowners along the Niagara-Grimsby-Hamilton corridor.

My focus is on providing customers a transparent no-surprises renovation experience: high quality, detail-oriented workmanship, completed on time and most importantly on budget, while minimizing in-home mess.

Typical projects include bathroom retiling – tub surrounds, shower enclosures, floors – kitchen backsplash tiling, flooring installation, drywall and painting, and accent walls.
